In March: DARK NIGHT/SPRING LIGHT
“The dark is not an end. It’s a door. It’s the way a new beginning comes” (Gayle Boss)
This March, Join Kim and Erin for a contemplative session of fibre arts creativity, where makers create their own bespoke two-sided felt piece—-all with just wool, warm water, soap, and agitation. We will explore meaningful life themes and, together, enjoy the calming, sensory experience of this ancient craft.
Choose session time from either:
Sunday afternoon, March 8th, 2:30-6pm
Or
Monday morning, March 9th from 10-1:30pm
Our session includes:
Simple wet-felting techniques for beginners
Reflection time to explore metaphors and the Elements (eg, wool, water, friction)
Local wools and beautiful embellishment fibres
Suggested Donation $60 or what you can afford
Your donations cover all provided materials, the use of our beautiful space, and they help support meaningful outreach work with vulnerable populations.
We gratefully host our small group workshops for adults in a community space Circles in the Square at 665A Market Hill in Leg-in-Boot Square, along False Creek.
